Introduction 

The Odisha government has launched many schemes for the people of its state, one of which is the Subhadra Yojana.

The main objective of this scheme is to assist married women and economically backward people of the state and through Subhadra Yojana, the Government of Odisha wants to improve the lives of poor and needy people.

It was decided in the first cabinet meeting to implement Subhadra Yojana in the state within 100 days. The launch date of Subhadra Yojana has not been declared officially.

The official website of the Subhadra scheme has not been launched either. It is expected to be launched soon. This scheme has been inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Mr. Mahon Charan Majhi.

Benifits Of Subhadra Yojana

Under Subhadra Yojana, various types of assistance will be provided to the beneficiaries. As financial assistance, an amount of up to ₹50,000 will be provided under the scheme which will be disbursed in various phases.

This amount will be given to the beneficiaries taking into account various expenses, which are:

• Education: For the education of children.
• Health: For health-related needs.
• Livelihood: for business or earning.

The scheme especially gives priority to married women and disabled people, so that they can improve their lives.

Subhadra Yojana Odisha Eligibility Criteria

• A single married woman can take advantage of a family’s ration card.
• Age – Applicant’s age should be between 23 to 59 years.
• Income – The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than ₹2 lakh.
• Resident – Applicant must be a resident of Odisha.
